ReTrax Tonneau Covers are now available!

Hey all, for those awaiting 2016 parts, I have some great news. The ReTrax MX Pro retractable tonneau cover will be shipping the first/second week in December. how much did this run you? dont you lose like a feet of your bed with this? Please review and let us know!

 

It was about $1500. I think the "can" into which the cover retracts is about 10" square. So, yeah, you lose some space, but for me, I am gaining a lot of space. I need somewhere to store equipment when I travel. I cannot do that with the bed open or unsecured. This makes sense for my needs. I suppose if I was regularly hauling something larger, it might be a problem though. Once I get it installed, I will follow up with a review.

 

free shipping?

 

The invoice didn't say anything about shipping. I think that the company has something like no shipping on orders over $99 or something. Don't hold me to that without checking it out yourself though!

 

I'm looking into something like this, the Bakflip Rollbak G2 is supposed to be available early next year as well...

Nice cover! I'm just gonna hold out.. I wanna see more reviews of the paragon cover. And a few other options... Don't want to spend over $700 for a cover tho!!

Please explain, the Retrax website states both the RetraxPro and RetraxOne come with a limited lifetime warranty.

 

The Limited Lifetime Warranty on both the Pro and One Series works like a pro-rated tire warranty. The longer you are out of warranty
the more the replacement parts will cost. I will be happy to provide the details of the pro-ration schedule to anyone who requests it.

Retrax makes every effort to assure that its products meet high quality and durability standards and warrants to the original retail consumer/purchaser of our products that each product be free from defects in materials and workmanship as follows:
1 year limited warranty for a RetraxONE, and a 3 year limited warranty for a PowertraxONE or limited lifetime warranty at a prorated price on all Retrax products unless specified otherwise. This warranty is to the original owner and is non-transferable.

how long is sale and free shipping please?

 

Update: Apparently, the Retrax covers for the 5' beds ARE NOT available. I've been told that the factory is missing some key components. They don't expect to ship until the first of the new year. Essentially, I've made an interest-free loan to the factory. 6' covers are shipping however.

 

Actually, I might look-up the TIN of whoever has my money so I can claim the interest on my 2015 taxes and they can pay it to the IRS.
