So before the next outing, I hope to have the TRD Pro skid plate.
Need to post this to the OP. Still wanting a clean comfy DD.
Then it's time to finish the lift.
    Icon 2.5 CDC Resi Coilovers
295/65r18 Duratracs (never knew this size existed but its exactly what I want for 2" lift)
18" TRD Pro Wheels or Method Double Standards
    Little more lighting...
30" Baja designs bar with a strobe feature.
    2 revere lights/dust lights
Then down the road a RTT and super low profile bed rack that mounts either to the rails or to the bed bolts.

I like it, minus the duratracs.... there good in the snow, but man on your heavy truck down here in the valley youd be lucky to get 25000 miles out of them.

I'm with you. Since it spends most of its time on the street I would go with a AT that's rated for 50k+

But if Patticakes wants Duratracs :)

I just think there is a better at out there than the duratracs. At2, rt, bfg, I'd run either of those before a duratrac in my opinion.

    Why you thinking duratracs patty?

They only weigh 58lbs. And they are the specific size I want. Plus I do go snowboarding in the winters. But mainly the size. I don't want a 295/70 and 305/65 is too wide. I am interested in a 285/70 exo grappler. But mainly I don't want to sacrifice performance. I love the way my 5.7 rips with the stock tires.

So after much debate/ discussing with @05TacoRunner, we came to the conclusion these will be the best bet for me size wise, still almost 34" tall but 11.5" wide, so no rubbing at 2.5" lift. I'll be on the lookout the following weeks for front icons, seeming how @05TacoRunner 's shop is hopefully going to install everything before the holidays.

Sam and I talked about it and we miss the ability to go exploring at a moments notice and that I'm going to go ahead and spend some money on good components so we can get out more!

Heres the tires I want to try.

I have never seen those tires before :|

I think those are still primarily a highway tire. Why those???

A few of the Tundra guys run them. For what I do they should be perfect. And they are actually the only 285/70r18 available. I just want a lasting tire that won't blow out on me offroad. I don't need a MT on the truck and am wiling to try something new out.

I need to go to a tundra meet and see some sizes in person. If I knew I would be happy with a 285/65r18 I would have such a better selection to choose from.

I'm thinking of dealing with the 295/70 just so I can run toyo at2

So made the executive decision to ditch the icon products and get a full king set up for the holidays lol now if i can only figure out wheels and tires we will be ready to do some wheeling again!!

Probably, and methods of course. Pretty excited to have Kings instead, I always ran them on the Tacoma, plus I can flip these icons anyways lol

Hehe you are so cute Patty. I think you should just keep the icons cause you already have the rears. How much are the rear kings???

Easily sell the Icons and I know you will be much happier with the Kings. I'm really surprised you even went Icon knowing how happy you were with the Kings on the 08. Now you need to figure out valving prior to ordering.
You sure you want Methods? Just so common now
