The suiciders are just too awesome.

I never thought I'd see the day where I have to worry about sprinting super mutant jihadis.

It's just beautiful. I love sniping that right arm from half a mile away when he's still in the middle of their camp

Yup, I love hitting that mini nuke arm right as he runs by his buddies. I also like blowing off their heads when they are about 30 feet away and collecting my custom delivered mini nuke :D.

This was a raider with a fatman though. No unfriendly random NPC's ever had guns worth worrying about in 3. Now in 4 it's like every fifth raider is packing a .50 cal, fatman, or missile launcher ready to fudge you up if you aren't wearing your power armor.

    Heh

I think I've worn power armor on a mission.... three times. Total so far.

Same here. I used it for the last few BOS missions. With the VATS helmet upgrade and Auto Stimpack torso upgrade it's a walk in the park to win any battle.

If you are going to explore the glowing sea I highly recommend power armor. Then you can walk around without worrying about the rads. You can even step in the odd horrible pile without getting soaked in rads.

I'm sure if I was wearing that armor when that mini nuke landed 10 feet away I might of lived, been healed automatically by the suit, and then bum rushed that launcher before he had a chance to get another shot off.

I almost never use the power armor so far

Rebuilt my Starlight Theatre settlement using the housing structure walls as par of the fence which freed me up to do some more crafting there

Is there any way to deal with the radioactive hole in the middle of that settlement?

I think you could build over/around it far enough out to not get any rads as you walk by, but it would take some doing.

I put 4 water purifiers in it and built a low fence around it at the point where the radiation shows up

That leads into a good question I have. So the water you make with the purifier, where does it go? I mean, I have two purifiers at my sanctuary settlement but I have no idea where the water goes... I'd like to know so I can start flipping it for caps now that my main mission is done.

The purified water goes into your workshop along with any excess food produced and if you have shops so do bottlecaps

Okay, great. Last night just before I got nuked by a random raider I got the local leader 2 perk. So those shops actually make money? Sweet!

I always get blown up by them since i cant fond where they are and i just hear ticking.
I havent found any with fatmans. How much dmg are your weapons doing? Mine are around 90 and on hard its a struggle sometimes.
No you dont. It helps when selling the purified water to them though.

I found one fatman right at the beginning of the game. It's not to far from sanctuary and it's been mentioned here before but I don't want to cause a spoiler alert.

EDIT: I just reread your comment. I've found 2 Supermutants and 1 Raider with a Fatman. I've probably found about a half dozen of each with missile launchers. Either one of those weapons hurts. Actually, I've never survived after hearing the mini nuke incoming sound. Not the clicking, but the air whistling noise of the bomb about to wreck my anus.

My 50 cal sniper rifle does over 100 dmg I think. I know my gauss rifle is around 200 though I barely use it to conserve ammo. My Laser Rifle does 80 and with it's high rate of fire it's usually my go to weapon.

This is an embarrassing question, but does anyone know how to heal particular limbs in this game. I can't seem to select anything from the pipboy menu to do this.

I've never had to. A stim does it automagically. I've had it heal legs and arm cripple shots, head too.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing, but it seems like a stim doesn't bring the limb back to 100 percent. Maybe that's all you can do on this game.

BTW did anyone notice that radioactive blood is labelled not food... does that mean in order to heal from non radiated blood packs you drink the pack... :puke:

Stim or just wait. Eventually it heals itself. Takes a minute.
Drink it or maybe a blood transfusion? Ha.

I really want the ghoul perk which adds radiation healing.
