Hey y'all, was wondering if anyone works for Hornbeck Offshore? If so what do you do?

Looking to start off as an AB. Took the 100ton captains course but waited for 11 months to et my seatime certificate from my time in the CG and missed the deadline to submit it. Want to work my way up.

That's the way I did. Worked my way up. The oil field is on a downward slope right now. Lots of companies firing/laying off people. Might not be a good time to start... But at the same time there is a lot of people quitting due to pay cuts. So that might open a door too.
If you look into Chouest at all the only recommendation I can give you is to go in person to the office and apply in person. And be persistent. Show them you want this job. Can't speak for HOS. but with Chouest that seems to work the best. Request to talk to a guy named Nicky Collins once at the office.
