X2 on liking these running boards. They came stock on my 2013 TE 4R. May not serve as rock rails, but they bolt to the frame and don't impede ground clearance. They give you 2-3 inches protection before your doors get dinged. I may get another pair:) image.jpg

I think most of us would love these if it wasn't for the $1200 price tag.

Then again, I won $25 on scratchers last week...I plan to reinvest that and win about 500k...then I can afford them

Curious, for those that bolted on the steps, do you use loctite? I got my nfabs today want putting them on next week when I get some time.

I would use blue loctite...Never hurts to have a little peace of mind

Even with the loctite, I would still periodically check to make sure everything is tight

Can you post a side pic? I'm leaning real heavy toward those, and i want to be sure they don't sit farther from the body than i want. I'm wanting mine to be pretty snug...

I never would have believed that steps and nerf bars cost as much or more as sliders.

I have about 3 days left to add the factory predators to my sport dbcb inferno, dealer cost here is $579. Can anyone tell me the distance from the step to the floor? Planning a 6"lift, want them to be useful. Or do I get the AMP's which have an 11" drop?? I do like the predator look!

Just FYI I ran into a minor snag installing my steps. The driver side front bolt wont bite so having the dealership look at it tomorrow since I have zero skills with tapping or re-threading. I'll update on the outcome.

Holding the step up and trying to get it to work for 30 minutes was a bitch. I would recommend taking the extra five minutes upfront to make sure your bolts bite before trying to mount any steps that have the mounting brackets welded on.

I'm proudly rockin' one side step for the time being haha.

For those that want door ding protection the N-Fab ain't going to cut it, but they look badass in textured on the MGM OR.

Those look very similar to my OEM tube steps.

They were on the truck when I bought it. I like them because better than half of the vehicles I park next to will have doors that will not clear them, so if a careless person opens their door, they'll just hit the step and not my truck.

I've used them a few times to reach the roof for cleaning purposes, but never to get into the cab.

I'm fairly sure i'm going to get the SR with a 5 speed, i just don't want it to be dreadfully slow. I'm planning on going with the cooper discoverer atw's as i live in the northeast (265/75r16). I've owned multiple 4cyl tacos before, but these things just keep getting heavier while the engine power stays the same. I can't justify the extra 10k to jump up to the trd models. Your cruise control thread was great btw. I'm also looking forward to the factory fog light mod. Your truck looks great, keep up the good work.
