Umm I do care...I'm no rocket scientist but I can assume that if my truck isn't running right I'll be able to tell. It's a Toyota part that in my opinion has been pretty well dam engineered......to the point that yeah because I haven't further modded it....I feel pretty safe not having it. ......I guess I'm brave then
If I were to do the smaller pulley and bigger fuel pump then yes, I'd have it because then I'd feel there could be more of a chance of having a problems.

I see your point, I do....like I said though I think TRD did a pretty good job to make it reliable and idiot proof (me) that I won't have problems.

That's what I hear...I wouldn't mind slapping a slightly smaller pulley on. I just don't wanna mess with the fuel pump. I get everyone says the tune is rich...I just feel your asking for problems. I believe a page back or so when I asked ....a 2.85 pulley can be put on without having to mess with the f/p.

Yeah your right about that too. I think I've even seen that the factory fuel pump can hold up just fine and doesn't need to be swapped. I honestly doubt I could find where I saw that but I know I did.......I read so much shit on this topic

@JuanitoBunito I would highly recommend you get an AFR gauge. While yes, the SC is an OEM type part....you have non OEM performance parts that can change your AFR. If you had stock air box and stock exhaust from headers back, I'd say no AFR needed, but because you don't, you are definitely no longer running OEM AFR with just an SC. Boost gauge is purely for looks and bragging rights. AFR is so you know if shit is going bad.

Boost gauge= good for determining vac leaks, belt slippage, and bypass issues

I was under the impression that the tune made it so rich that a cai and an exhaust wouldn't really matter.
What are a couple gauges most people use? Whats easier to install electrical or mechanical?
Also, once installed....what are the numbers within normal limits?

    here's the one I'm using.

Ehhhh you can go pretty rich and be ok, just burn black for a bit like ole Girlylobster. I don't know exact numbers, but I think you want to stay below 13 at full WOT? i think past that you are leaning out to much?

Now, most of the TRD Tunes are pretty rich, but there have been a few guys that get a pretty good tune and extra mods can throw it off. I'm not saying thats you, but It's best to spend a little money to be able to check after you just spent $5000 to install a performance part on your $35000 truck, that can potential kill it...
