hi I have 2005 Tacoma 4x4 the front passenger side wheel makes an unbearable screecing/ringing sound. I recently replaced the spindle on that side Any ideas on what might be causing that noise? Thanks

Check if brake shield is not touching the rotor.

I've bent up the backing plates a little swapping wheel bearings from pulling the spindle off. So I'll second that one. I had a caliper lock up on mine last winter also. Holy hell did that make terrible noises. Drove it 50 miles home which was interesting. The pads were just metal shims by the time I got home and the rotor was glowing. And my god the smell... Baked on some serious crud on the wheel too that I still haven't been able to entirely remove. But I haven't tried too hard either.

Hey thanks for your help. It was the brake shield. I had to bend it back
