    @Uncle Cliffy so you decided to upgrade to the 700lb springs after the addition of your hybrid bumper? I'm in the process of ordering some new Icon COs with CDC and will also be ordering an aluminum front bumper (65lbs). I only have about 1.5" of exposed thread on my driver's side CO. Just trying to decide if I can live with the heavier springs given my relatively light front end.

    I actually ran the 650 springs with that bumper for quite a while. We never weighed the bumper, so I can't say how much it weighs. It has a receiver built in so I can carry a winch if I feel the need...

    I had a lot of thread showing on the driver side. 2.5+ inches actually. Driving through rough terrain at speed, it was really plush, but felt a little out of control. Hard to explain. So far, I feel the 700 springs were the right choice. Nice thing about the CDC is you can back off the compression to get a softer ride on the street. Mine make a noticeable difference...

    Besides the bumper, do you have any additional weight in the front such as skid plates?
    If you don't mind checking for me when you have the time, what's your hub to fender measurement & amount of thread exposed?

    I have a front diff skid that's part of the bumper;

    E6B4D93B-3DA4-42CD-9BC0-32AE55256EFD_zps_c5687964a5f435e4fa1f46ce278b1a9cec7df923.jpg

    Also have sliders... Both aren't exactly lightweight.

    Currently 22.5 inches both sides, hub to fender. Half tank of gas... Driver side has 15mm of thread, passenger is about 5mm. Hope this helps.
