    Haha... good point !

Yeah, I used to make my girlfriend really nervous in the MINIs. I don't blame her, I don't care to be in the passenger seat either when someone is putting a car thru it's paces. Like when I was stationed in Germany and my buddy had his 7-series BMW cruising the autoban at 185 mph. I drove at speeds of 160+ but in the passenger seat... not so much fun! So yeah... I learned to take it easy with her or most any passenger in the car. And yes, the best thing about MINIs is how they take the curves. I'm sure that your Civic could really hug them too.

Yeah I wouldnt take her with me on my drives or at least not push the limits with her in the car. She has never seen me actually drive the car which is good because she would sh*t. HAHA. I have been to Skip Barber racing school in Atlanta Georgia, twice now! I am not a good driver compared to the instructors but I am definitely above average.

The most recent visit I got to drive the 2015 Stingray, 2015 Porsche 911, and a 2015 Mustang GT. There's something about taking a brand new sports car out on the track (Road Atlanta) and beating the crap out of it. Cars were still on factory oil.20150629_102128.jpg 20150629_154611.jpg20150629_104914.jpg

I want to add that the Mustang was a joke on the track. Fun in a straight line, but a joke on the track compared to the other cars.

Oh man, I bet that was AWESOME! If you could only drive one of the three again, which would you choose ?

It would be close between the Vette or the 911. I would take the Vette because it was the first I experienced an auto rev match when downshifting on the track. I usually try to heal toe or blip the throttle when gong into corners, well not with the Vette! I would go into a corner in fourth and have to drop it second and the car would auto rev match! It still blows my mind.

The 911 was exhilarating though. The rear mount engine is a whole different breed of handling.

Wow, that is very cool. Cars haven't changed a lot in appearance in the last 30 years but they sure have changed a lot mechanically.

Mr Erkon, welcome to TW :). If I were you wife I would first feel blessed to have a husband so willing to make all the logical and selfless sacrifices for his family and then feel blessed again to be having a second child :D. Congradulations! I hope you and your family enjoy every minute in our new Tacoma?

Amen brother! If she could only see this! LOL. She already likes the truck more than the car. Its an automatic vs the 6 speed and it doesnt have a loud exhaust on it. It is a good addition to the family.
