    Sup Guys, 626 SGV in the house! I have a stock 08 DCSB Pre-Runner...looking for some easy dirty trails to have some fun...dont have AT tires yet. but looking to get some soon.

    Can I take these 'Road' tires off-road on dirt tracks? or will i get stuck?!...

    my Bro lives in Beaumont, near Big Bear...so looking to take some trips up there next year...what kind of upgrades would i need to do if any to hold my own?

    Welcome aboard man. You'd actually be surprised what you can do with a stock prerunner. There's a few guys in here that are either one (stock or prerunner) and they've done it all with us. There isn't much I can say about what mods you can do other than what everyone already knows (lift, tires, armor etc.), but your best bet is to be very aware of your surroundings. The more you go out, the more you will realize what you can do with your truck as well as it's limitations (this is where wheelin buddies help). Gorman is a common place for us (usually Sundays) and that will give you some good feedback and a chance to see what other guys are running and hear their real reviews on their setups. I went from a DCLB prerunner with a 3" Toytec lift to my current setup. Nothing wrong with what I had, but I had the opportunity for the big upgrade and I took it. Keep your eyes open, we should have something soon (@2015TRD4X4 :boink:). Big Bear, would be cool, but I hear it's a bit more technical so you'd definitely want some knowledgeable company.

    In case anybody is wondering, the Hella 4000 Rallye's are fucking huge. I bought 3 but only 2 fit. I guess I need a new bumper to accommodate all of them :welder:

    Let's do it then. Fri/Sat/Sun works best for me, but I know a few guys on here that can only do Sundays. How about we shoot for 12/19 or 12/20? It's the last weekend before the holiday so I know some people will be squeezing in their last minute shopping. They way I see it: better for us because the trails will be less busy. We'll play it loose and make more concrete plans as people respond.
