I am about to get my new truck in I wanted to start a thread about all the minor issues some have encountered. I'm a bit behind on the subjects. I know about the hood vibration, looking for other legit concerns.

A lot of people are complaining about the transmission shifting all over the place.

My mpg suck!! No home link, no auto tailgate lock, no door handle sensor on passenger side, no factory remote start at this time.

    That's all I have.

Truck is solid no complaints really. I had a small door rattle that I fixed no big deal.

I'm in the same boat. So far my list includes:

Checking tightness of bolts (U-Bolts especially)
    Glue under good
    Entune function
Hardware in Sunroof (one complaint i know of)
Number of weights in Off Road package, hard to get wheels in balance (road vibration)
Licence plate light (one poster mentioned intermediate connection)
Sports shifter working properly (one user couldn't change gears using the shifter, just showed 4th gear)
    Blind Spot Monitoring working correctly.

There's more... but that should get you started.

Have you ever looked at the side effects of a medication prior to taking it? All of a sudden you have half the side effects listed. Making a list of what's wrong with other trucks before you even receive yours is kind of like that. Drive it, love it, and if something's wrong get it fixed. Don't go looking for problems.

Nothing wrong with checking out your new truck before signing and driving. I'm going to love my truck but no point of sticking my head in the sand and hoping.

So you're going to check the u-bolts on the lot and the sunroof drains?

Regular test drive and a good look over is all you need. Remember it's under warranty lol

Very true, I just wanted a heads up some potential issues. The warranty may come in handy.

They are checking the bolts... Dealership is an hour drive for me, hope to not see them till my first oil change. Just my personality, I do read the fine print, sometimes I sign anyways but you have to know how far your ass is sticking out.

Go for it... I have too much of a life to just spend driving hours back and for one problem at a time... Like I say, some people have a proactive personality, some have reactive. The OP and I have proactive, no worries of yours.

I was serous when I said that. I'd be sure their was not stupid little things like a rattle or something.

But the big stuff is hard to diagnose.
