Mine is about the snap off. Been hanging on one hinge for a few years. Anyone know about what it'll cost to put on a new door?

    Are there other options too?

I had mine replaced under Toyota Platinum 100K warranty. Without warranty, think it would have been around $200 for parts, getting gas door painted and install. Knock $75 off to install yourself.

Once you have the new one, lube the hinge on a regular basis. Will help it from getting overly worn out. The hinges dry quickly and the metal becomes fatigued.

It is amazing what a little shot of WD in the hinge will do. Mine opens smooth as butter and no longer feels like stuffs rubbing.

Had a 94 Taco till 09 never had the issue or heard of it. Obviously the metal used in production on my year was not treated correctly..
