2008, Tacoma Sport, 4x4, automatic transmission, double cab short bed, v6. Had front leveling kit. Just had new tires and an alignment last week. Haven't had this truck long. Just took my first trip. On the way everything seemed fine. After I drove around and then on the trip home it seems to vibrate and sounds louder almost like the engine is straining. Tires don't seen to be there problem. Transmission seems to shift fine. Remind doesn't seem to be missing. Have no idea what the deal is. Anyone have any ideas?

Vibration in the peddles/feet? Similar thing with mine. I have cleaned maf, throttle body and reset the computer. My conclusion is its winter fuel. Maybe not what you wanted to hear but its what makes me feel better about it :)

When starting on an on ramp the hood even vibrates. Think it's more than winter fuel. No vibration in the pedals.

I should also ask if it goes away when you shift to 4hi. Get the truck to where you feel the vibration then put it in 4hi, if it smooths out you have a bad needle bearing in the front diff ( drivers side).

Vibration where the hood shakes does not sound like a diff bearing. That is more of a floor and seat vibration. Give as much detail as you can and people smarter than me will jump in. When does the vibration start when does it stop. ? Does it change feel with speed or rpm or load?
Do you feel it in the floor peddles seat steering wheel? Do you hear it?

    OK
Not any engine noise. Jacked up front end today. Send like front driver side CV able has a lot of slop. When I out it seems to make the noise I was hearing on the highway. When the wheel is of the ground just spinning the wheel causes no noise.
