Has anyone had issues with the "Automatic Headlight Feature" not working once they install their HID Kits?

There is someone on another thread that said his "Auto On" feature with his headlights quit working once he installed his HID Kit and I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Thanks, was going to install my VLED HID Kit this weekend and am wondering if I will be "losing" the Auto Feature.

Nope. I had HIDs installed that didn't use a relay and now I have the morimoto ones installed that use a relay. Auto lights still work

I HATE driving past people with these headlights. However, seeing some of the pics of the lighting differences is making me thing I need to upgrade. lol

When used in a projector and aimed correctly the cut off won't blind oncoming traffic. The functionality of them makes it well worth the cost, plus they last a long time. If you drive and amount at night you'll appreciate being able to see better

I've used a brand called Innovited from Amazon for a few years now with no problems. $40 for 55w AC system with no relays and works perfectly. If they go out in two years I'm OK with it. By that time I'm sure LEDs will have improved enough for me to switch over to it. They are H11B (ground return wire on bottom) and incredibly bright and pure 6000k. Being prime membership, if it doesn't work it's a simple return process anyways. Not everyone's cup of tea but anyone looking for an inexpensive HID 55w system, Innovited is pretty great on Amazon

Installed Some HID's this week, I was not happy with projector headlights after i had them installed on my old 2010 tacoma. Stock my truck (2016) was good lots of light out put and the "Cut off" was not to bad but I wanted HIDs. Now that they are in I love them the projectors work well with the hids. here a a pic the low beams are 10K and the high beam are 30K. I am going to put all 10k's in tho. i dont like the deep blue nor do the cops lol.

10k are still too blue! Once you go past 5k you start getting into the blue spectrum. It's only for looks and doesnt help with field of vision once you go past 6k. It starts to diminish.

You are absolutely right, that's why I picked 4300, because it was the cleanest white of white

I too just ordered the Morimoto 55w kit with 4500k bulbs, plus the LED fogs - I want the maximum amount of usable light. When I saw the picture above I thought there was a police package Tacoma that was coming out.

Do these 6000k match the DRL? Did you do anything to your fogs?

Nothing to the fogs yet. The fogs were off in this photo. I kinda like the look and functionality of my orange fog lights, personal preference. Maybe in the future I'll throw in some 6000k LEDs

Thanks! Any noticeable faults with this hid kit? I know some other guys on this thread notice some shaking with their kits, I'm on a budget and really leaning toward your option

I haven't had any problems personally with shakings or anything. The gasket is similar to the stock. If you have Amazon prime, I would have no worries

Ordered a h11b kit from xenondepot. The bulb fits correctly but the damn connectors from the ballast won't snugly fit the incoming power wire. Tried every variation and bulb wouldn't turn on. The bulb fits snug if you're wondering.

I wouldn't suggest xenon depot as their customer service and return policy sucks ass. %20 restocking fee and I got ship them back to Canada where they're from.

Think I may ran sylvania silver stars in lows and fogs.
