I need a good place for a beginner in Ontario, Canada. Pref, south Ontario, but will drive for adventure. So many beautiful great spots in the USA... going to need to get my passport sorted out and the kids, and head south for some trips also.

Just bought it last night so I took it out Hi Mountain Road and Hi Mountain Lookout Road (Los Padres National Forest) 011.jpg to try out the 4wd systems. Nothing crazy but rougher than I expected. Sorry, no action shots.

When I saw your first two pictures I was thinking "What about the step?". Last two pictures: question answered.

I wish there was a slider with flip-up (or removable) steps to give the best of both worlds.

drove in some mud today to test out the new tires. kept wheel spin to a minimum to keep my truck clean and not tear up the property owners land.

It was a dealer option, came with the truck asking with those stupid steps. The rack is pretty cool though.

Yeah, that'd be trick. I'm 6'9, and won't need steps, even when it's lifted. I need to find a good set of rock sliders that bolt to the frame. It might be fun to weld up a set of fold-down steps for the passengers

New Taco owner, and an ambitious 3-year old at Shotgun. Looking for places near Hampton, VA to OR...pics soon to follow. Anyone out there know of OR trails near Hampton?

So, I had an SR5 2wd earlier in this thread. The dealer was nice and we had an agreement where I now have a TRD OR!

Was having too much fun plowing through mud puddles to take any pictures but here is the aftermath in the Food Lion parking lot.

I went across a lot of NC Gamelands which are public use. I also took care not to tear up the trail. Now, the fact that they built huge speed bumps out of red clay which has eroded badly and gave the shocks an exercise is another thing.

I really like the tan a lot. The only downside is that the dirt blends right in.

Yanno.... I truly admit, for eons Ive contemplated putting running boards, or steps on my trucks, even my Land Cruiser.. but then there was also the time I considered putting a screen door on my submarine too.....
