Sold

Well since I can't find a dedicated sub forum to post this I'll post this here. Use caution when buying from Rockreef. Bought his blacked out headlights that where supposed to be in perfect condition and the one he unwrapped to show me was, BUT the one still in bubble wrap not so much. Drivers side is missing two tabs and all the torque head screws to hold the lens to the assembly are gone. Texted him today at 11:20am with pics and so far still no response.

Awww man that's not cool... And to think, I put an offer on these! Well hopefully there's a good explanation, and you're local to him. So hopefully he can own up and make it right. Hate to see a guy get burned.

 

Really can't blame anybody but myself I should have pulled them both out and checked them out fully but just did a quick look but he knows what he did hence the reason he handed me the good one to check and now is ignoring the texts and pics I sent.

 

Fuck man that sucks. We have a strong community here on TW and it's not like a member to screw over another member. Let's give it a day or so before lighting him up though, there's a chance it was an honest mistake... And his phone is dead... Or he's at work...

 

Hard to believe honest mistake when this was his original sale post.

FS: 05-11 Black Headlights

I bought these to do a retrofit but changed my mind. No bulbs included. Perfect condition, lenses are absolutely clear and all tabs intact. I don't think they are OEM but I compared them to my OEM ones and they weigh the same and look identically manufactured. Local pickup in SoCal preferred but could ship at buyer's cost. Price is $150 firm for the pair.

And I have PMs from him saying their like new and yet the torque head screws on the back are missing and two tabs are broken.

I think at this point it's safe to say rockreef has not intention of correcting this situation or even responding.

 

I'll have to say that I don't think the guy is trustworthy. I was going to buy the panel with the AUX/USB port for a 2009+ tacoma and he sold it from underneath me. I pm'd my # and was trying to set up a meeting when he sold it to another member. I won't do business with him.
