    DO NOT BUY FROM XENONDEPOT!!!!!

I recently ordered new bulbs to fit my HID kit from xenondepot I had on my 08 DCSB Sport. Before I ordered, I read over this thread to make sure I ordered the right thing (2 H11s and 2 H11Bs). Their site advertises H11B bulbs, however I received my shipment today for the lowbeams and fogs and they sent me 4 H11 bulbs.. After I called them to let them know I got 4 H11 bulbs instead of 2 H11 and 2 H11B's, they told me that the H11 bulbs should work and that they do not have anything other than the H11 bulbs. I then explained the difference between the H 11 and H 11B bulb return wire and the shadow issue it causes and the customer service rep told me it should work anyway. After going back-and-forth with John and Danny, I told them that I just wanted to return the bulbs due to the fact that if I tried the bulbs they shipped and they did not work, they would not take them back due to them being opened and "used". At that point they refused to send me a shipping label and said that I would Be responsible for shipping and restocking fees for the bulbs they wrongly sent me and wrongly advertised on their website. AGAIN DO NOT BUY FROM XENONDEPOT!!!

No I have a 16 now. I had an 08 with HIDs. Used the ballast that I had and ordered new bulbs from XENONDEPOT to fit the 16 but I had nothing but problems with them. Take my advice and use The Retrofit Source! They know what they are talking about when it comes to the correct bulbs and switching wiring harnesses.

I just installed the VLEDS Morimoto HIDs 5500K and I am totally impressed with them, night and day between them and the OEM Halogens.

VLEDS was great to deal with as well.

The H 11 has the filament stem on the top and when you put them in our 2016 it leaves a very distinct pattern ontop outfront. The H11B have the stem on the bottom and doesn't make an interruption in the headlights viewpoint

thanks. Vleds website does have option to pick H11A or H11B. Call the Vleds Rep. and they said their HID is universal. Don't know if I need to pull the trigger and order from Vleds. Very confused.

I went with the H11: Morimoto Elite HID System (H11B 35W Ballast 5500K)

You can go with a 55W Ballast which gives you more light output than the 35W Ballast but the rep at VLEDS said they are super super bright.

I am really happy with the 35W Ballast / 5500K and have not been flashed while using them.

I had to do some minor adjustments to the headlight adjustment after I installed them but that was easy because I did some measuring before I installed them, basically, 25 feet from a wall and 3 feet up for the cut off line, at least that is where my halogens were from the factory and I just made sure the HIDs were at the same cut-off line.

    Here is the link:

Thanks, i called the vleds rep. asking if it is h11b bulb or not, and he told me its universal will fit both h11 and h11b, so i ended up buying the kit from TRS. Wished i had waited for your reponse. Dont know if the kit from TRS is any different from Vleds kit, but its cheaper

I agree, my stock headlights are bright enough, sometimes too bright reflecting off sighs on a dark road. I thought LEDs would be cool but good ones cost what several lifetimes of H4 bulbs cost and I have extra H4 bulbs.

Sam, did you have to adjust the fog lights or is it just plug and play (except adjusting the collars of the LED bulbs to match existing bulbs). Same question for headlights also. I am a bit concern on the adjustment issue, since I have a very slopped driveway, and not quite sure how to deal with it.

Andy, I did not make any adjustments other than to the collar of the VLED's.

Hey Sam. No flashes from oncoming drivers after I installed the XD led H11's in the fog lights.

Find a flat area with a wall that you can aim the headlights at and then measure 25 feet out from your headlights to the wall. The cut-off for the headlight pattern should be 3 feet from the ground.

If you need to adjust the pattern it is easy to do with a philips screwdriver.

There are also adjustment screws for the fogs if you need to do them.

When I converted to HIDs I had to make very slight adjustments to the headlights but the fogs were fine.

I got the measurements from the factory settings before I converted the headlights.
