    My situation:

Picked up my 16 Taco. Drove to Shreveport, LA and back for a little weekend getaway and it drove like a dream. The next weekend I took the family to Memphis, TN. On the way back, while driving 75mph, the truck shut down. While coasting to the shoulder, it kicked back on for a few seconds and then shut back down. I couldn't get it to start, so I pulled the 30amp main fuse and reinserted said fuse. Truck started up and off we went. 3/10th of a mile later had the same issue. This happened 4 more times as I limped it along to a truck stop. Trac control, ABS, Brake, check engine, and cruise control warning lights are all on. Truck is at the dealership now waiting on Toyota field/design engineers to come and inspect. What says you guys?

I moded 1999 Taco so much it had turned to Land Cruiser
I don't think Toyota had ever realized a vehicle with that many problems.
It's worse than Colorado/Canyon. Hood vibration was the last item to hold over the Twins.
    Way to go Toyota. :rasta:

The posts in here are worse than the Colorado forums. I have strong distaste for GM, but it feels like this truck was rushed to the market - with the lack of styling changes and a lot of silly problems

Lack of styling changes? The truck really had an overhaul on the interior. Whenever a new generation of a vehicle is released, there are going to be some problems. Give it another year or two and these problems won't be apparent.

Mine has been perfect so far but as long as man makes it you can expect problems no matter what the choice. When I do encounter an issue the Warranty better cover it and they can pay my expenses f it has to go back. Customer Service!

    Stock and loving it
If you go to the beach and have a good time, you may tell one person.
If you go to the beach and see a shark, you WILL tell 10 people.

When you get on a message board where people are only posting about 2016 Tacomas, the ratio is probably 100:1

Everything is good with my taco.. I had a similar thing happen to my mercedes.luckily at a slow speed..happen to be some flippin mice ate up all my electrical wires.

Skimming through the Colorado fans site there seems to be a lot of problems with a interior leaks and a big transmission issue gm is still trying to come up with a fix.
