Yea have seen those. They are very nice. I think I'd get those for my other truck especially since those are 185w and now you can get them 225w. But the lightforce 240s I have still beat them.

Preaching to the choir man. That's been my biggest beef with LEDs from the start. Optics suck and range sucks. I'm not 100% sold but will be easy to pawn off if I don't like it.

I just had a thought of using the relentless fan brackets and bending a tube to hold the Hellas instead though....kinda like that idea

Guessing you saw me driving around town? So far I really like it. It keeps a nice warm temp in the bed. Nothing drastic but it helps. I haven't put Ash in there yet but he will be toasty with his kennel cover.

I took a trip home for turkey day which included some snowfall. Normally I have to weather proof items in my bed with large trash bags but not this time.

Only downside is I make myself back into spots. Its to hard to see out the back and safely back up without someone in the passenger seat who is willing to pop there head out the window.

Yeah saw you drive by when I was gassing up to leave Laradise. I think the difficulty backing up would drive me nuts, but it looks bad ass.

Didn't you have a pack rack on the back before? I'm assuming you sold that?

You'll get used to it. Doesn't take long to get over not having a rear view mirror.

I pulled the trigger on a front skid and sliders from AP, 15% off all of their stuff so I figured it was time.

I have two bed racks in my garage :p. If you are interested in them I'd be happy to get rid of them.

Definitely interested, I'll PM my info. If you get some time to send pictures that would be fantastic.

On a side note, how the hell did you end up with 2? lol

Some guy made bed racks with a canvas top covering it, basically a strong softopper. The only problem was that the fabric and windows couldn't sustain high winds and failed on me. The guy was scum and dipped out before anyone could get their money back. The bed rack is fine though, used it for my first RTT for a bit but the tent was higher than I wanted. Joey, a member on here, offered to build me a new one for a small fee and I took it. Once I sold my second RTT, I cut that bed rack in half so it only covered half of the bed and held my spare 35 up against the window.

@SconnieHailer or anyone else with second gen sliders. If you get a chance would you mind measuring the distance from the main rail to the outer tube and kickout on your sliders? I have something drawn up to have the shop bend, but I just want to make sure I'm not way off on the depth.

Sure hold on a sec. I dont have a kickout though. You want from frame rail to outer tube?

Frame rail to outermost tube is roughly 14.75. It's not straight out from the frame rail though it kicks up at about 8 inches from the frame

I think I mainly just need the main tube to the outer rail. I think I can play with the distance from the frame rails to the slider a bit as Im building them.

Beat me to it! Thanks, I had figured around 7 or so with a kickout to 9-10"
I think I'm going to use square tubing for the main rail and round for the outer, to me that seems to simplify the process a bit (less tubing to notch out.)

Sounds good. Mine are 1.75" tube. And 7.25 wide from outside of tube to outside of tube for the actual slider part.
