    Yep, you're probably running right in the same area I used to on my old truck. It was great!!! I'm a grandpa though, 75ish is usually tops for me on the road...

    I don't know what it is but you're probably talking a difference of like 250-300 rpm between the two. Do you want more pep or an extra .25 mpg? These V6 motors like RPMs. I ring the crap out of our 3.4L and I know the 4.0L is the same way, just more.

    Up front I'm going to have them banging off the cab mount and fender as the suspension cycles and the wheels turn. I'm going to have to take a careful look and figure out what I can fit up there, because our snow is only getting deeper and deeper. I don't get stuck until I'm in 2-3 feet deep of snow, but I want to be able to keep pushing through that for short periods of time.

    35's and 2.0 max degrees of castor problems. Cab mount is already chopped pretty far back, not really much more room to squeeze out there.

    I wasn't worried about mpg really. I was just curious about rpms. Right now I'm at 3k going 80 on my speedo. And I know the 3.4 love high rpms. I get a pretty noticeable 'boost' around 3.5k rpms.

    What's the speed difference? And real 80 preferably.

    Eh, we drive on snow/ice up here for six months out of the year and you see very few street cars with chains, especially AWD. A snow rated tire and a decent driver are plenty for most road conditions.
    LT truck that's been wheeled religiously for 100,000 miles. Stuff happens. Cams are maxed out.

    Will eventually build some heimed UCAs to correct it.

    4.88s aren't going to give you stupid high RPMs unless you drive stupid fast... Like 85+

    I'm on 35's and 4.88's with an auto Trans and I find its to high on the highway at 65 mph, would be worse with a 6 speed.

    Peak torque and power is at 4k. 3.5k it starts going up drastically again. Thus the boost. One of the reasons I love the 5.29s. Keeps the rpms around 3k all the time practically.

    80 on the speedo is only 72mph I think or so. I don't go real 80. Not worth it. 70 is the trucks sweet spot for power and mpgs.

    To do 75-77mph GPS I'm at about 3.5k almost.

    whats 75mph out of curiosity? I usually cover long distances for work so 75 is usually the magic number. Im still torn between 488-456

    just got a simple lift on her
    can you guys let me know if my thinking is correct?

    I have a sand toy that has coilovers on every corner. i know the spring rates are incorrect, as well as valving.
    to get the proper spring rate, is my thinking correct?
    i lift up one tire with a jack/fork lift and if another tire lifts off the ground before that tire fully bumps out i need softer springs right? is there any trick to find out how much softer i need to go?

    this is on a SR1 Rhino with A-arms front and back.

    Use the least amount of spring necessary to hold your rhino up at ride height loaded down with your average payload. Also, ask the rhino forum guys lol.
