Because if you respect the tool for what it is and keep yer boogerhook off the bang switch till the sights are on target you are good to go.

G19 always chambered. When my gun comes out of the holster its immediately unloaded or fired, one or the other. It's physically impossible for it to fire when the trigger guard is covered by the holster.

Late to the party, but I also carry with a round up the pipe. My common carry guns all have manual safeties and holsters that cover the trigger guard, but when I carried my G19 regularly I was perfectly comfortable with just having the trigger covered.
Reason for carrying chambered is obvious, as you said. It's a lot faster to flick a safety off than it is to rack a slide, I can do it with one hand, and I've practiced it enough that it's now part of my draw.
    YMMV

Very nice. Hope you can post your impressions after putting a few dozen rounds thru her. I've been eyeballing their large caliber receivers for a while now.

I really like them. I can hit a 10" plate all day long @ 300 yds. with my PRO and a 3x magnifier on a 16" rifle with any ammo.

Will do! Upon first impression is a quality receiver for sure. If I were to do it all over, I would go NFA because it is cheaper, or I would have skipped on the Gibbz and gone with QC's upper. They wouldn't say how long the wait was and I was growing tired of waiting. I regret it now, matched receivers are where it's at for sure!

I keep thinking I want a new red dot for a black out. I keep telling myself I want an aimpoint, but unfortunately for me the only red dot I've seen that doesn't look like a red starburst to me is an eotech....(I know not technically a red dot)

First time I used my Aimpoint, it was a red starburst too...then I turned down the brightness and it works great

Anyone in here have some insight on the Winchester SX3? I'm thinking of picking one up for waterfowl hunting.

The SX3 has been my go-to shotgun for 3 or 4 years now. I've shot several cases through it, from light sporting clays loads to 3" turkey and duck loads. I love the polymer coating. Super-reliable. Compared to the Beretta semi-autos, it cycles faster and more crisply. Recoil might be slightly more than a Beretta but the faster cycle time helps me get on the next clay faster than the sproingy shucking I feel when shooting a Beretta. Light years ahead of any Remington semi-auto as well. Opening day of teal season this year:
