Something like that. You can find 'off brands' at garage sales, thrift shops, etc. for a buck or two. Change will never rattle around, easy to remove from vehicle if you have to drop it off for service somewhere.

Carrying change is useful for self service car washes in rural areas. I like to keep excess bugs, mud and slush blown off my paint when on the road.

I keep my change in the ash tray like compartment to the left of the steering wheel. My truck came with a cigarette lighter but no ash tray, fine with me I don't allow smoking.

Why thank you. I actually have 2. The other one I keep quarters in for the laundry mat and car wash.

Ah, see there's my problem - my wife won't accept quarters! :p

And I wash my vehicles at home in nice weather and run it through the touchless wash in the winter when I fill up, so debit/credit card there.

Man, by the sounds of it you should be rolling those quarters up and holding then in your fist when you head out!

I was under the impression that third gen owners just threw their change out the window so the poor second gen owners could feel better about their terrible lives, if only for one fleeting moment.

That was just the pennies, till we got rid of them anyways! Now change is useless.

In my pocket. Transfer to Crown Royal bag. When that is full I go cash it in, and buy more Crown Royal.

I agree the new version lacks storage. I recently cleaned all the crap out of my 2nd gen to sell it, and I have very little room in the new truck to store the stuff.
Maybe I should start a new thread, but what is everyone doing for storage ideas in the gen3?

That's easy to answer because the bed is 5% larger or something.

Put it all in the bed!
