how hard is it to get the 2016 t4r trd pro? I called 2 dealerships and they dont have a clue when will they get one. What is the process of ordering/obtaining one? What other color do they have aside from quicksand, grey and white?
I decided to get the t4r over the 2016 taco after weeks of spending my time here in this forum. Thanks guys ✈️

We just received our 2015 pro 4runner a month ago. Had to wait 4 weeks on it to arrive after ordering it. We ask our dealer about the 2016 and they had no idea when it'd be out. So we went ahead and ordered the 2015. Love it so far!

It took me 6 months to get mine last year, was worth the wait for me. Those are the only color option for 2016 they ditched inferno.

What made you decide to go for the 4runner over the Taco? I'm facing the same decision right now...

I got mines 2 days ago 2016 4Runner TRD pro. It was ordered but the person that ordered it backed out at the last minute my wife and I were looking around on the lot. Stoked no waiting it was our lucky day.

They are SOO nice. I just can't justify the +$40,000. That's why I chose Tacoma.

I agree with the price it was kinda steep for a souped up trail edition. Probably could've built a base trail edition and buy all the Trd pro parts and still come out ahead. But the wife wanted her own vehicle instead of sharing a Tacoma with me. It's the white paint that got her. Kinda wished I waited for the 2016 tacomas. After seeing them all over the lot the new look is beginning to grow on me.

The trd pro comes with a pull out tray right? If you take that out, does the seats still fold flat or is there bump?

The sliding cargo tray is an option. If you do not have the tray equipped there is a bump. If you want a completely flat floor, you must have the cargo tray equipped when the back seats are folded down.

I checked out a trail addition without a tray, and the seats were flat I though. I could be wrong, but I thought so. Thats why I was asking about the trd.

Nope. The top picture is without sliding tray, bottom is with it.

Top picture is a 2010-2013 model it looks like, judging from the dash. 2014+ is the bottom pic.

Taint a flat surface without the tray. I don't have the tray but wish I had a flat cargo area in my 15 TEP

I don't want to give up the space, but I also intend to sleep back there sometimes if need be and that bump will suck.

They are still hard to get. I was looking since October and dealerships are having a hard time keeping them longer than a day in the lot. I finally got mine this past Monday. I'm hoping she treats us as good as my current 2007 Tacoma has been to us. I will say I only wanted white since I wanted it to match my Taco. I did turn down a sand beige color but I'm sure they sold it right away.

Man, I was just building one on the toyota site. From what I can tell, not being able to have a moonroof or KDSS is a deal breaker for me. Bummer. I guess I would have to build a Trail premium into a copy-cat.

Funny, thats the exact reason I want a TRD pro. I can't stand moon roofs and could care less about KDSS.
