    What is this tree stuff I hear? I think I fixed my truck so I might be down to go...

    @benbacher it wasn't the distributor although that needed replacing soon, it was the coolant temp sensor.

    That's how I know my tires are working good. The more rocks I hear the better the tires are working right? :headbang:

    But I hate having to re-clean and spray paint my sliders like every 6 months from rock chips, tree rubbing, shopping carts, other doors etc... I wouldn't mind a durable polymer coating for sliders.

    Where does everyone get their tires? Does everyone order online? For a set of 265/70/17 Duratrac's I was quoted $1280 + install from Kendall, and $1450 out the door from American Tire. These prices are insulting when I see them on Amazon for $200/tire with free shipping (only 2 in stock or else I'd order). Hell I could even order them from tirerack and still get them cheaper at $832 + $362 shipping.

    Yup. Just bit the bullet and ordered them through a free 30 day trial of Prime. I accidentally looked at the P rated set which they were out of. Just ordered a set in C rated with free shipping for $237.63/tire. Cheapest quote I found was $309/tire locally.

    I got my 285/75/16 duratracs from sams club last fall for right around 800 after an $80 instant rebate. Took about 2 months lol but I got them. Even with buying a $35 membership it was cheaper than anywhere else locally or Amazon.
