Advice for 6" lift

I'm really wanting a 6" lift for the taco and was wondering what my options were. Would a lift for a 2015 work?? I'm looking to fit 33" tires with 20x12 wheels

6 inchs dont do it.

 

not quite the same with the drop kits. one member running the BDS kit had to do some modifications to kit. not exactly sure what but he mentioned it.

 

but 6" lift to clear 33s on 20s...

 

so are you wanting 6inch body, Six inch Suspension, or 3/3? your looking at really screwing things up if you go that high, unless your going to throw some $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ into it.

 

The only difference is the 16' LCA uses the larger rear cam from an FJ. So, the cam slot in the drop bracket needs to be a bit larger.

think hes just talking about a 6" suspension like BDS, Zone, Rough Country, Tough Country and such. just do think there's any kits that are make for direct bolt on yet for the '16.

 

2015 is not a direct bolt on but does fit with modifications to the front drop bracket and cam bolts

 

My 2015 was a 6" Zone with 20x10s and 33s

 

just curious, why did you get BDS this time over the Zone?

 

Any vibes after the zone lift install. I'm getting ready to purchase a zone lift for my 2011 dcsb.

 

Had a little bigger budget to play with this time..Lol

 

After having back to back 6" Tacomas I can tell ya the ride is a 100 times better with the BDS and fox Coilovers. Bang for the buck it's hard to beat the Zone kit

 

I came from the Tundra world and pretty much everyone over there runs the Zone or BDS lift. The Zone kit is definitely a good option for the money and with the extra money it can go towards Coilovers for the front.
