Looking to replace factory receiver with the Kenwood DDX9702S into a 2014 Tacoma pre-runner...currently have the touchscreen double dinn w/ backup camera. Has anyone installed this receiver?

Looks like I will need a steering wheel control interface. Is there something similar for the backup camera that is compatible with this receiver? Thanks!

I just did it. I can help with any questions you have, except for the backup camera. I haven't figured that out yet. You will need an SWI-RC or similar interface to make the steering wheel controls work. I just installed the SWI-RC and it was pretty simple once i found out which wires to tap. I didn't install the ddx9702, I installed the ddx373, but it should be a similar installation. Just make sure you get all the correct harnesses. Crutchfield will bundle everything together at a "discount" if you order from them. Shoot me a message if you need anything.

How is that head unit? I thought about getting one of these in that lineup, but can't decide.

Is the Bluetooth call quality any good?

For the money it's great. Plenty powerful. Have a feeling I'm going to need some new speakers before too long. Bluetooth seems to work flawlessly, but voice commands are a little delayed and setting up your favorites is a little goofy. Lots of customization on the 373. I've had it installed over a week now and I still find myself playing with all the settings.

Agreed on Crutchfield. I've been using them for over 10 years, they keep it pro.

I installed my old Alpine IDA X300 media unit. No real bells or whistles, but it plays everything on my thumb drive. I'll rock this thing for a while until I can get some cash to upgrade. Thanks folks. :)
