    Hey Everybody,

I'm looking to possibly buy an '06 Tacoma with 130000 miles. Everything looked pretty good in my (untrained eye) inspection, except for as a milky substance around the rim of the oil filler cap. From everything I have heard this is a major red flag!! I took it to a local independent shop and he said there was nothing that he could find wrong with the truck. I mentioned the "milky" stuff around the oil filler cap and he said it was condensation from the oil and that it was normal.

The dip stick did not have any milky-ness on it. However the oil had just been changed within 50 miles in the dealers "used car inspection".

This is really the only reason I didn't drive the truck away yesterday.

    Should I be concerned?
