Sad to see this go but unfortunately student loans, two jobs, and clueless Prius drivers are making me sell. What your looking at is mostly a 1976 SR500. Call it what you want Brat style, Cafe racer, Rat rod, Thumper, Harley Sportster Beater. This is a no frills stripped down mostly motor kind of bike. If you can't kick start a 500 single, I'm sure theres an electric start something with clip on bars out for you somewhere. On with the bike: Bought it in Colorado. Bike has been up Pikes Peek and was part of the Pike's Peek Cafe Riders Club. Front end is off an xs650. Motor is off an XT500. The bike has been thoroughly gone through and rebuilt or upgraded over the past few years. This is not a showroom bike. It has been ridden and has its fair share of paint kicks and scratches. This thing is light and fast.

    Body Frame:
Tank is an xt500 powdercoated matte white and a rust stripe.
    Custom Made z Bars
    Gum Grips
    Custom made Frame hoop
Custom Seat Pan with flush harness
    Custom leather Brat Seat
    Custom Rolled Aluminum Fender
    Nitrogen Charged Shocks
    Dunlop Roadmaster Tires
    Resurfaced and drilled Rotor
Rebuilt Master Cylinder, New brake pads
    Rebuilt Front Forks

    Electric:
    Bike has been completely rewired
    LED Mini 2.5 Speedo
Bates Style Headlight with LED Cluster (bright less power, looks like HID)
    Classic LED Taillight
    Xt500 motor converted to 12v
Elimination of Point's: Rex's CDI ignition

    Engine:
    Stock Carb
    K&n Filter
Valves and Timing adjusted 2 weeks ago
    New Gaskets
    New Clutch Push Rod
Rex's Speed shop magneto and CDI. No more points. Better hot starting and throttle response
    Recent Carb Clean
    Good Compression

Trying to get 4000 to pay for my fire academy. Will accept reasonable offers. Thanks for checking it out :)

I've never had an interest in motorcycles in my life, until now.

    That's what I thought. If it weren't cross-country, I'd already own it!
