Here in St. Louis, people get their Licenses out of cereal boxes when they turn 15. So NO ONE knows how to drive. (And when I mean "no one" I mean everyone except me:thumbsup:) I get tail gated on a constant basis. And before I get criticized, Yes, I do move to the right for faster traffic, I'm not a lane hog. I'm talking about instances when someone is in front of me and I have no where to go, so the person behind me rides my ass expecting me to do something.

Before I bought my brand new very expensive truck, I didn't mind a little brake checking to put people in their place, but now I'd rather not do that. So I want to see what other people have done to their Tacomas for defensive purposes.

So you're proposing a light that's pointed behind the truck? Interested to see where this goes...

Back in high school, I wired up some cheap lights that hung off the bottom of the rear bumper and ran a switch into the cab. Worked shockingly well. I wouldn't do that to a new 3rd gen taco though, would have to be nicer/cleaner.

I flash the shit out of people clogging the passing lane. They're disgusting, selfish, unaware, arrogant people.
... But behind me? Not so much. I see where they're coming from.

I don't avoid it. I literally slam on my brakes. I've been hit twice over the years by brake checking mindless dipshits. Once a teenage girl in a volvo stationwagon hit the hitch on my s10 blazer and punched a perfect hole in the grill. Other time totaled a Nissan 200SX and trashed the rear end of my 1980 BMW 528i. I got paid on that one!

    Flame suit on.

So with that being said, sounds like your idea is illegal, not to mention extremely unsafe...sooo

I find it ironic the OP is suggesting offensive tactic for "defensive purposes." What ever happened to just changing lanes or pulling out of the way to let the asshole pass?

Oh and in after the lock...peasants.
