I am purchasing a new 2016 trd sport, loaded. It has the premium and technology pkg with JBL and tonneau cover..the MSRP was listed at $38995....I am paying $38000 even plus tax and license. Can anybody tell me if I am paying too much? This was a special order direct ship from Texas to Washington state. Thanks in advance

According to Truecar, you're right in the ballpark: "A great price is less than $38,181".

Yeah that's a good price, do you have heated seats?

I saw a pure white one with sunroof heated seats tech package for around 38,5 or something

Wow that is a deal ... I paid MSRP for mine ... and got NO packages. Sounds like a great deal.

You can do better w/ Costco buying service, but you'd have to start over from scratch. In Auburn they are $500 over invoice IIRC, a couple other dealers (including the one I'm buying at) are at $750 over invoice. Negotiating to $1k under MSRP is still nothing to shrug at though.

Yes, it has heated seats, and the moon roof, and it's super white too.

Do you happen to know the dealer name that can do 500 over invoice?
My cousin is looking to buy an SR5 DCLB 2WD. Thanks

That's the pricing I was given through the Costco buying service at Doxon Toyota in Auburn.

When I bought back in October, I can say that none of the Toyota dealers in north King, Snohomish or Skagit County was doing the Costco Auto Program for the Tacoma. I got mine for $ 400 under MSRP.

It was 10-17 that I placed my order. Doxon and one other east sound dealer, Rodland IIRC, both said they were doing it when I was researching a few days prior. Ended up with Wilder in Port Angeles at $750 over invoice.

I bought my truck from Rodland in Everett, and they are not doing the Costco auto program until some time next year. They were happy to sell me a Tundra under the Costco program, but they were selling the TRD Tacomas right off the transporter for MSRP.

Did you initiate contact through Costco or directly? Wilder is the only dealer that would admit Costco pricing directly to me. The others (and I'm not positive about Rodland being the other i got a response from, Doxon I'm sure of) I basically had to use different zip codes to have Costco feed me different dealers.

I did the exact same thing as you: went through the Costco site using different zip codes and also direct internet contact or phone calls to the dealers. The Costco site only matched me to the Port Angeles dealer for the 2016, using zip codes in Snohomish and north King counties. It turns out that Rodland had the exact truck I wanted (TRD Sport 4x4 DCSB premium/tech/tow packages in Inferno) already on allocation with an early November delivery date. Wilder did not seem that enthusiastic about ordering one for me, and this combined with a delivery date a few months out, the difference in trade-in values for my Ford Escape, that Rodland is only a few blocks from my office, and the two trips of the drive/ferry ride from Arlington to Port Angeles all combined to make me go with Rodland.
