We've remodeled ours also. Just need to do Windows and put siding on it. It has that old type of siding on it

No that asbestos siding. Been talking to siding people and they said they can cover it with now a days siding and you wouldn't ever know it's under there

It's safer to leave it than remove it

    Looking good!!!

On Monday I clay bar'd and used Meguiar's NXT 2.0 sealant. Normally I would stop there but I upped my game a little bit this time. I put on Collinite 845 on Tuesday, and I could definitely see a difference, even after parking outside in this constant rain we've been getting in Columbia. Best wax job I've done to date. Will definitely be doing this from now on.

I have used hundreds of different waxes, polishes and such over the years.
As far as simplicity and lasting results IMO Nu Finish is just the way to go after I clay bar.
It lasts 12 months and I usually try and do it 2-3 times a year anyway.

That's the once a year polish, right? A polish step is certainly going to be in the next detail job I do. Parking outside has taken its toll on the paint. My fender flares started corroding last summer and it's driving me crazy lol

My poor truck looks pitiful. She hasnt really been cleaned(like detailed) since I've acquired her. I need to find a place that'll detail the inside for me, her seats need a good cleaning. Especially with my dog(s).

I gotta get my interior done up too!! Previous owner was filthy and I found dog hair in crevices for years after we bought it through Carmax in 2011. After I got the truck in 2012 I gave it its first good detail and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the paint stood up after all those years
