    A thing or two...
I'm wanting to get an alarm/remote start installed in my truck. Looking at the Viper 2-way LCD systems. I waswondering if anyone has had one of these systems installed in the ABQ area. If so, who did you use and were you happy with their work?

Viper lists Audio Express, Electric Avenue, Paradise Village, Ultimate Car & Truck Accessories, and Basin Electronics as preferred dealers.

Not the same alarm, but I had a Clifford unit installed on my old 4Runner by Ultimate. They did a good job and seemed fair. Have you tried Driver's Den? They're very local and I hear good with the customer service aspect. Not sure if they carry Viper.

Hit up Lomas Glass and Tint - 505-266-5755. They don't do viper alarms. But, they carry two way alarms from Compustar. They can do remote starters and even give you the ability to control the alarm/remote start from your phone. The phone compatibility is pretty cool. It uses GPS and can give you an location for your vehicle and messages your phone when the alarm goes off.

I'm in no way affiliated with them. Just a happy customer.

Stay away from Audio Express on Coors Blvd. Incompetent idiots. Had to reinstall my sound system. Re-tap two mounting holes under the dash that they stripped out. Stay away.
