Figured I'd create a build thread to keep track of all my changes and upgrades. Many Items that I was searching for couldn't be found so hopefully this will fill the void for anyone who has a similar inquiry.

On 7-31-15 I picked up a 2015 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Black / Graphite PreRunner Limited

Special thanks to Sarah @LikeABoss4x4 from Boss4x4 who helped me with a majority of my parts. Getting parts sent to Hawaii is no picnic but Sarah made it an extremely affordable and painless process.

 

These show the stock suspension and the addition of Toyo ATIIs in 275/65R18 on the factory limited package chrome wheels.





These pictures are right after I lifted the truck with the Fox Racing coilovers & Wheelers AAL with the overload left in.

 

Here's what it looked like after installing the bumpers and sliders. My cousin and I were able to do it in one afternoon. The AntennaX CB antenna looks taller in this picture but it's really only an inch taller than the roof racks which makes it a great indicator when entering parking garages.

 

Personally not a fan of chrome but got to admit, nothing looks better than a well taken care of black vehicle, yours included.

Only thing, stop waxing those sliders. One of these days your girl is going to bust her ass getting into the truck and then kick yours.

 

I strategically placed 1" 3M grip tape just after the leading edge of the sliders @D.Mathys

 

Did you buy those tail lights or make them? They look awesome

Adjusted the Fox coilovers up front.

 

Added the Rigid Rock Light 6 piece kit for "puddle" lamps.

 

THOSE LOOK AMAZING! It flows perfectly with your truck and you're right, $140? I am ordering a set now.

 

Wow, I just also solved an issue I had with my sliders. I'd always slip off at times when it was wet. I am off to get some 3M Gripe tape. I was going to do this a very long time ago with cutting up a skateboard gripe tape.

You've got that clean look going on with your Tacoma.

I know it's been a while since you posted an update but hopefully someone else other than me would like to know....

How well do the Fox 2.0's handle the weight of the bumper? Are you happy with the ride?

 

These shocks handle the plate bumper just fine. I also love the ride. It's much better over the stock ride too!
