Does anyone make things for the 1st Gen. Tacomas? What are they? Chopped liver? I want a tailgate handle latch with the backup camera mount. Someone has to make them.. Also, I want side mirrors with the signals on the outside or the inside.. Either or works. Also, is there an easy and proper way to switch the front signal lights to fog lights and make the corners the signals and parking lights with step by step easy instructions?

It's less Tacoma and more mod
You can make the mirrors pretty easily yourself. Plenty of tutorials on that. You'd have to find someone with a 3D printer and CAD skills to make an integrated camera/tailgate handle unless you just cut and glue one together.

I probably could. I'm real anal about how things are done so I don't like sloppy work and if I can't do it myself then I won't attempt to do it.. It's just kind of sad that there isn't after market stuff like that for the 1st Gen. Tacoma's.. It all starts at 2005 on up.. Hmmm, any other suggestion's?

Most of the first Gen aftermarket consists of functional items and running gear. Not many visual items, plus why would you need em with the best looking Gen :) I've been itching to make a set of turn signal mirrors and would be happy to have a first customer though, worst case scenario if you didn't like my workman ship I could throw em on my truck cause it cant get uglier. :p

I'm interested in something like this too, but have yet to see one for our trucks. (Pop & Lock makes decent setups for 2nd Gens.)

Yes. These are the instructions I followed a few years ago. (FWIW, I'm still happy with the results.)
