    Or....

Way back when Indiana first started their state lotto, it went 5 weeks without a winner. The total made it all the way up to 7 mil. At that point, it was winner takes all, no "cash payout" reduction, or yearly payment options.....Just 7 mil straight up. So.....I was out grabbing some groceries when I ran on to a couple buddies doing the same thing. We were all going through the checkout lane at the same time. Myself and one friend were "poor boys" back then, just getting started raising a family, mortgage payments, etc....and we were planning on buying five $1 quick picks each. The other guy who was in line ahead of us was the son of a wealthy doctor, and his wife's family owned several Walgreens franchise stores. He and his wife met while attending Purdue (where we all met) They both were now pharmacist's, and his dad and her dad pooled money and set them up in business with a Walgreens of their own. They were doing quite well already. And "Kurt" decided he WASN'T buying a lotto ticket. So me and my other buddy started hammering on Kurt. If we were poor and could buy 'em, he aught to at least buy ONE pick.....Finally, after about 10 minutes of pestering him, he relented, bought a ticket, and walked out mumbling under his breath about "wasting a perfectly good dollar"

2 days later, the day after the draw, we found out Kurt won 7 million bux......And wouldn't share! :( A few weeks later, he agreed to buy us each a beer......

Point being with all this story....????? All it takes is ONE lucky pick....ie.....$2
