    Hey Guys

In June I'm taking 3 weeks off to do a road trip from Atlanta Ga all the way to Seattle to see my brother. He's in the Army and has a sick JK so we're hoping to do some fun trails in Washington while I'm up there. My girlfriend and I are planning on stopping at a bunch of places along the way. Obviously Colorado has some of the best trails and camping activities in the country.

I wanted to ask you guys some questions about which trails to do and maybe any thing you recommend we should do.

Info on my truck and what I expect to have done with my truck before we leave:
2016 TRD Off Road (has rear locker)
    ~2" lift (ICON Stage 3)
    285/75 KO2s
    Sliders
Skid plates (not sure how far back I'm going yet. For sure front / transfer).

The hardest trail GA has is called Beasly Knob, I was able to do it stock and not hit anything. Mostly a bunch of Whoop-Dee-Doos with some steep hills with a little mud. It was very nerve racking but I loved it and can't wait to go back.

I plan on doing a bunch of trails/camping between now and then (going to a meet up in march with some guys in the S.E) so I want to do some trails that are not just a forest road. I know I've chosen to get armor and bigger tires over recovery so if the trails often require recovery we would only want to do this when we've got other people to go with. With that being said, anyone wanna join us for some trails and camping?

It would also be great if we could camp on or near w/e trails we are doing to save some time.

Thanks for the links, I've been reading a bunch of the trail damage information on random trails but since there are so many I didn't really know where to start.

The www.funtreks.com is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Thanks for that!

    Lifted, Armored, needs more lights.
TrailDamage is good overall but not actively updated for awhile now, so good to use multiple sources.

Traildamage has added 2 new members in the last month they have updated that at least maybe they feel that most current descriptions are rather complete

They're descriptions and pictures are still useful for trying to find a few good trails that meet what I'm looking for. I'll probably have to wait till closer to May to figure out a more definite route we can take.

Being from the south I didn't realize snow was a thing in June, shit by June here i'll be at a pool.

The way it has been snowing this year, there will probably be snow until July. I heard Wolf Creek just passed 21ft the other day for season total so far...

    22' actually. :D

269" so far this year! 117" on the summit and 88" midway.

Yeah, there will be a few passes on the Alpine Loop open in June because they are plowed. Ones that need to melt out will probably still be deep.

there's some camping just off the roads in several places, most of the roads are too narrow (and too busy) to camp on the Loop. Lots of dispersed camping on other USFS roads

Spotty, not a lot of spots but theres a handful of dispersed camping. I have a spot I usually camp at off Cinnamon Pass at 10k', theres probably 8 spots in the area. If it was me I'd head back Cunningham Gulch and setup a camp then drive all around.
