So my brother dented my roof...tried popping it back from the inside but it didn't work, I guess its alot easier with the liner removed. Anyone have any tips on removing it and popping it out?? Thinking about putting a deadener in there to kill two birds since Il have the liner dropped... Any products that have worked for you? Any input and advice is greatly appreciated!

Never pulled one out of Tacoma but I have on other cars. I will tell you this, before going thru all the trouble of pulling things apart and possibly breaking something make darn sure you can get it out of the truck. Its bigger than you think, I had to pull windshield out of one car, that's the only way it would go.

Once it's down you can just kinda fold it like a taco and shimmy it out of one of the back doors. Take your time. It's not that bad of a job, but take your time and put it back together without mangling it.

I used FatMat along with some extra sound deadener. I did my entire interior so I can't tell how much of a difference the roof made.
