So noticed the other day my back seats just kinda flop down (the seat part, not the backrest).

Looks like there is a spot for a latch, bit nothing there. No resistance. Is this normal? If not, I have my first "issue."

Normal. The "Seat Part" is held down by the back and it is latched.

Seems strange as the seat has a latch point on the seat and where it hits has a latch point. But, no latch. Seems strange that the seat could just flop around.

Maybe I'm not understanding your concern. When everything is in place, there can be no "flop around".

The seat back latches fine, the seat does not have a latch. There is literally no resistance when pulling the seat up. The seat back has a latch and takes a slight tug. The seat when pushed down just kinda hangs out. I may need to go look at one at the dealership to verify.

He's talking about the bottom seat...not the back rest part. The backrest has a latch that needs to be clicked. The bottom does not.

OP: It is normal. Gravity does it's job and the bottom stays down. It takes some pressure to pull it up, thanks to the backrest and gravity holding it down.
