That and you can slide it out to the tailgate where its easier to dig to the bottom, instead of leaning over the tailgate and trying to get into it.

Well I found it. MSA drop slide is the one I've seen before.

    https://youtu.be/heVNn3UnUn4

It's one sweet setup if one has a drawer system in the bed. Would work well in the cab too if you had a platform to mount it to.

Better to ask what I have not done.
That's what I want to build if I ever put it in the truck. I know it will not fit in the bed with the drawers In and topper on but when I do bed rack I'll have to make sure it fits. But any ways I like the drop down so I'm not reaching over for things and I'm 6'3" so I feel bad for any one shorter then me.

Yeah, I'm the same height lol.

I'd like to build a drawer similar to the one in the video but I'd want it shorter and only on one side of the bed. I'd have to take measurements but I think I could make it work with a fridge.

I think I'm going to copy this idea when it comes time to build something for the bed.

They are fun to build and honestly with one it's enough to carry what you need to. And I would put the fridge up front and then put an on board air and or battery's towards the cab.

Yep that's what I was planning. Battery with fuse panel toward the cab with the fridge at the tailgate.

I like what PCbuilder posted above. That's about the height I'm looking for to still fit under my shell. Then I could put all my camping gear in the drawer to hopefully clear one action packer I'm always toting around.

First time poster. I bought this fridge right before I saw this group buy. Oh well. Great deal for all of you.

I own a 37 QT ARB and wanted to move into a larger fridge. Several friends own this and have been happy. Here are some of my brief observations. Storage in the Indel is way more vertical. This makes it a bit hard to keep things organized. Best example is in my ARB the dairy shelf can fit a dozen eggs in their carton. In the Indel you have to cut in half and stack. Not the end of the world but I have to change how I organize everything. Milk and juice containers will easily fit in the dairy area. The temperature is about 10 degrees warmer than the main area. I have tested that with a variety of temperature settings and it seems to be very consistent. Equipt did the most thorough testing so I would suggest reading their detailed review. A simple battery drain test over 8 hours with mine showed power consumption was similar to my ARB. I'm happy with that. My ArkPak started at 12.8 volts and was at 12.5 at the end of the test. (Optima Group 34 Battery)

Initial thoughts vs the ARB Models:
    • Lid latch not as rugged
    • Insulation not as thick. Simply by width not any scientific testing on efficiency
    • Power chords are the same so if you lose one it should easy to get a replacement
    • Interior light is blue vs white
    • Max cool is a nice feature on the Indel although time to cool took longer than my ARB from 66 to 32 took 90 minutes. My ARB took 45.
    • Temperature appears to be very consistent throughout the fridge. Meaning walls are the same temp as the floor.
    • Plugs angle the same way so they don't like to be used at the same time. Annoying. ARB they angle away from each other as they should. (QC build issue?)
    • After 24 hours the temperature was very consistent around the entire fridge. Dairy area 10 degrees warmer.
    • Indel you control battery protection from the back of the fridge with a switch. On the ARB it is via the electronic panel

    Cons:
    • No drain plug
    • Storage area is very vertical oriented. A dozen eggs won’t fit without stacking for example
    • DC chord is a 90 degree chord like the ARB but it is oriented the wrong way. It makes it difficult to have the AC and DC plugs connected at the same time. ARB does not have this flaw
With this deal you are getting a great product at 50% less than an ARB so I think all of you will be very happy. I have ordered the recommended Waeco cover and I am buying the SmittyBilt Arctic Fridge cover for comparison. I will take pictures of both.

My understanding of using the basket is it keeps condensation off of the fridge walls. If you put everything in bags or containers you probably don't need the basket and can squeeze a bit more space.

    Basket Dimensions:
    With Divider
    9.5W x 6.125L (1/8th) x 15H
    9.5W x 5.5L x 15H

    No Divider
    11.5 x 9.5 x 15

    Dairy Area:
    10.5 H x 10.625 (5/8) W x 4.75 L

Lack of a drain plug is the only thing that worries me about this fridge. I just looked at an ARB fridge locally and that seemed like a nice feature to have just in case.

Ya it'd definitely be nice to have, I figure with the $400 I'll save off an ARB though I can buy plenty of sponges or paper towels to clean up a spill :)

Wonder how hard it would be to install one your self? Do these have a warranty?

1/2" drill bit and a rubber stopper. :) just don't hit the refrigeration lines.

That's what I wasn thinking. But I would have don't a foset for it not a stopper and I have no intention of hitting a freon line again so I am still on the boat of paper towels

Here's the SmittyBilt Cover. It's very good. The only problem is the controls are covered because on the SB fridge the controls are in the front like an ARB fridge. At least 2 possible solutions.
    1. Who cares and don't worry about it. The top pieces attaches to the side with velcro and comes off when you open the lid anyway.

    2. Cut and separate the top from the main body of the cover and create an area to expose the controls. Sewing skills would be a plus for that.

For $40 I'm going to call this a great deal. I'm waiting for the other cover to arrive at my door. It came with fabric anchoring straps but no instructions on how to use them properly.

I went to the Container Store, yeah there are cheaper options and found a bunch of storage containers to maximize storage with/without using the basket. Everyones needs are different but I did find this nice cheap plastic basket that can hold up to 8 cans. The handle fits over the wall but could be removed.

    http://www.containerstore.com/s/kit...ndled-storage-baskets/123d?productId=10022155 - $4.99

The 5.3 qt and 2.1 qt containers work well. The larger ones take up the full width of the fridge to maximize space.
