    From what I know, if you don't drive the vehicle off the lot after you sign papers then it's not officially yours. The dealership still legally owns it.

    Technically he hasn't taken delivery of the vehicle yet. He doesnt own it until then, regardless of what is signed. You could nix the paperwork and get a different truck.
