The armrest on my 2000 Tacoma driver side door is falling apart and I have not been able to locate one anywhere online. Does anyone have any idea where I could find one?

    Thanks.

Only thing i will say is "good luck"!! I'm looking for the same one but in gray. Been looking for a couple years and they do not seem to exist. And when you find a used one, it looks just it.......

As the "plastic" looks like its in decent shape, I wonder if a upholstery shop would be able to replace the pad for you.

Thanks for all the info. I found a place online that sells the cushion for $100!! Looks like I'll just deal with it a little while longer. Especially since this morning my door handle broke off in my hand! Looks like that will get replaced first. But while it seems to be falling apart in some respects, the motor has never had any issues (knock on wood). Can't beat that!

Okay, so I'm looking to fix the same part on my taco, looks like for the 2000 the armrest cushion for driver and pass side is the same part? Am I seeing that right?

In the document attached above it looks like there's one for each side. I'm looking at the part labeled #7 on page 21. Interior Trim (bottom right corner). And on page 22 item #7 lists part numbers for R and L in different colors.

Oh ok there we go. I see that now, now the challenge is trying to order the part, the places I've looked up don't seem to show a difference in part number or any helpful 'R' or 'L' prefix. Yaay.
    Thanks!

Just keep an eye on the different shapes. Mine's a SR5 with power locks/windows, looks the same as the one in the top. Seems like lot's of em online are just for the manual windows, which are different.

I was able to get one in mint condition from a local Toyota scrap yard for only $40. Not sure the guy knew how much they usually go for.

You could see if they'd ship you one. They get multiple Tacoma's weekly and I've seen several with mint arm rests...

I've been there 3 times in the 3 months I've owned it and the inventory was always different. He has an indoor room with probably 30 motors/tranny's already pulled. Even had a few frames laying in the corner, but not sure what they came from.
