    my wife and i fished saginaw bay( lake huron) on xmas day. caught 13 nice eyes! all fish were caught using custom painted deep down husky jerks.

    A few months late, but nice 'eyes. Probably my favorite fish. Wish we had more in NC like you all have up there. Is it possible to get a pic of the custom husky jerk?

    Id like to catch some walleye but have to drive 6+hours to get to where they are for me.

    Here where I live the walleye populations are down in lakes. The Wildlife Dept. stock a few lakes. I have heard some of our problem is introduction of blue or blueback herring used by fishermen. These baitfish can make the walleye sterile.
