    Just as a PSA:

Starting in 2016, part of Gov. Brown's approved budget includes $3 billion in new taxes levied in order to now repair our many sub-par roads and bridges.

This will include a $65 flat fee on all registrations each year from now on, on top of your current registration fee. As well as a $0.06 increase in the state gas tax, $0.11 for diesel.:facepalm:

We already have the highest gas prices in the country. It was $2.95 yesterday when i filled up. When i was in Phoenix a three weeks ago, it was $1.89.:facepalm::facepalm:

You can guess what group was backing this, and who was opposing this. As you can see the assholes backing it won. Ill stop there before it gets political.

    Just sayin'

Look on the bright side. Gas still hasn't tanked yet. It has been awhile since I have seen $2 a gallon gas. When I first got my F150 8 months ago I was in the $80 neighborhood with a 36 gallon tank. That has come down considerably.

I remember back when i was a kid seeing gas for around $1.19/gal. When you factor in inflation and the changes to dollar valuation, gas really has only marginally rised in price. What different are the eco-nazis that are in power that have put in $1.00/gal of taxes over what most states charge.

Same here when I got my license back in like 1996-97 gas where I live was 99 cents a gallon. Now up in big bear it's around $3.15 a gallon. What I'm really not stoked on is the $60 registration increase you stated about.

Here's a nice chart...I wonder if it's pre or post increase???

    http://www.api.org/oil-and-natural-gas-overview/industry-economics/fuel-taxes/gasoline-tax

But, peeps in cali have overall lower taxes right? I mean everything else is cheap... :p

I wonder if the roads in PA are that much better than the road in SC or if it's a cold weather/other effect driving their tax.

And receive new ones designated for a passenger vehicle. No more weight fee. I did mine with a roof top tent. A camper shell works the same.

I hate this place but there's too much money to be made to bail just yet haha
