I have Garmin Dash Cam 20's in both my Mustang and in my Taco. I'm very satisfied with each...

I've watched a lot of the youtube vids of many dash cams and it looks to me like the Street Guardian has the best video quality, and for a relatively sensible price.

I'm not trying to make a sale to you, but my cams (I have 2) have a high quality video and have never failed to high temps. Good luck with whatever you chose.

I've got one of these and I prefer it over my thinkware cams. I've got the x300 and f550 but the bit rate on those is far too low so making out license plates is impossible even when my bumper is right up the other cars ass. The street guardian has great performance day and night, instant boot up, etc.

Pulled the trigger on the street guardian. After seeing a new impala driving erratically and almost sideswiping/cut-the-shit-off-of an old Jeep Wagoneer this morning, I decided I wasn't going to wait any longer. Unfortunately the ship date is next month :(

Just picked up a Transcend 100 for 99 bucks on flea bay. Comes with a suction mount and a 16GB card. Only had it for a week but it seems ok at this point.

I'm actually very impressed with the quality of footage. What dash cam is this, and does it record mph?

    It's this one: http://www.amazon.com/Street-Guardian-SG9665GC-Supercapacitor-DashCam/dp/B00U0OJMYG

It has an optional GPS antenna that comes standard, but I didn't mount it.

I can put more vids up if y'all want. At this point I've got footage of every condition and time, minus snow.

Post them please, and thank you for your answers. Videos trump written reviews IMHO.

Give me some time to upload a few of different lighting and weather conditions.

No problem! I'm heading to bed soon so I'll more than likely check out whatever you post in the AM, but it's definitely appreciated.

Man, I'm still surprised at how clear those videos are.
