@oneshort glad you got your problem resolved. Just read your last thread, and even though your grammar is not perfect, I was able to understand it. I too have quit posting on here for the most part because of these dirtbags. Everybody thinks they are so high and mighty. Not to mention the fact that the moderators, who I would assume are here to prevent people from getting too far off track, just join in criticizing others.
This forum is an absolute joke, so don't feel bad.
Bunch of keyboard warriors who think they're pro mechanics/off-roaders. That being said, there are a few cool people out there.

If you are supportive and provide positive input then you will get support in return. If you're a dick, nukes will be launched and we will call our friends in to share the kill.

How is this different than anywhere else on the Internet?

In his first post, was he being a dick from the start? No. He asked a question, somebody didn't like his spelling and grammar, made fun of him, then the rest of you joined in making fun of him.
Your point is invalid, please try again.

I understand your perspective, so please understand ours. I don't know how long you lurked before joining, so it's likely you missed the great troll wars of the 2016. They were BAD. People were permanently banned from TW. There has been a lot of troll-ish behavior around the 3rd Gen forum very recently, which is unfortunate because most of the owners (I hope to think myself included) are helpful and curious on how to make our trucks and the ownership experience better. We just don't tolerate trolls.

The thread looked like so many other troll threads that had come and gone.

I can't say that I have seen any of these troll posts, but I can understand that side of things.
However, there are moderators on the forum for a reason. The easiest way to deal with a suspected troll would be to simply tag a mod in a comment, and let them handle it.
This guy just seems like he does not have the greatest writing skills, but had a simple question.
Even if he was trolling, which, judging by his second post, he was not, what harm would answering a simple question like the one that his original post boiled down to do?

    Agree to disagree.

Honestly though, somebody coming on this forum and posting that there dipstick is stuck, smells troll to me as well. Wasn't worthy of a post by me yesterday, but then for OP to post a picture of the service this morning and say "See, I did go, but I'm not tellin' " is school girl hallway crap at best. Frankly, I don't give a crap what the fix was, because I highly doubt it was stuck in the first place, he was probably pulling on his brother's pecker.

You realize you're talking about a group of independently minded, free spirited people who modify their trucks to do wonderfully impossible things. Why would anyone here do anything because it was easy?

It's a personality type that doesn't suffer fools well.

Look folks....I don't think anyone is going to go to service for a dipstick not coming out, unless its really an issue.

Maybe, but look closely at the picture, looks to me like it says performing as expected. If it is, then post "Well I'm a shit head" or don't post at all. If there was something wrong, post that. Maybe we would be interested.

OP, I had nothing to do with your posts yesterday, but I don't tolerate school girl petty "I'm not tellin' " crap from anyone. Right up there with "I know you are, but what am I?"

Your intent today was to prove something, but I have no idea what that was.

If I told you my tranny was slipping, but I'm not telling you what the fix was because a few jerks made fun of me yesterday, then who's the jerk?
