I'm a believer in lights behind the grill. I go to Dallas everyday. Keeps sticky fingers away.

Interesting, never thought of it that way.

 

I have my lights in the grill. Shitty thing is that if they take the lights, they'll rip out the grill to do so.

So I don't put it past some asshole to do it.

But I'll leave my dash cam running if I leave my truck in a shady/questionable part of town.

 

i keep ice in my grill.

 

Lights are pretty much useless on the bedrail against the back window. Trust me. The light just bounces off the tailgate and throws very little behind the truck. You would be better off mounting some in your bumper.

 

My lights are in the grille also. Never really thought about the sticky fingers.. that would suck a tad.




On another note... Gotta love Scotch Thursdays.

 

Every time I see someone with a 50" on the top of their truck I think: Look, a free light bar!

 

Would like to play with a pre-2000 sway bar if anyone in the DFW area has one laying around.

 

I have a sway bar from my 2010

If anyone is curious about how I mounted my led bar behind the grill here is some a picture. The pvc pipe spacers will be painted black

Ron, an elderly man in Florida, had owned a large farm for several years, which had a pond at the back. It was suitable for swimming, so he fixed it up nicely with picnic tables, horseshoe courts, and some orange and lime trees.

One evening the old farmer decided to go down to the pond, as he hadn't been there for a while. He grabbed a five-gallon bucket to bring back some fruit. As he neared the pond, he heard voices shouting and laughing with glee.

When he came closer, he saw it was a bunch of young women skinny-dipping in his pond. He made the women aware of his presence, and they all went to the deep end.

One of the women shouted to him, "We're not coming out until you leave!"

Ron frowned, "I didn't come down here to watch you ladies swing naked or to make you get out of the pond naked." Holding up his bucket Ron Said, "I'm here to feed the alligator."

Some old men can still think fast!

 

Not sure how to take that comment. But from the seat the lights light up the trail very nicely.

 

Just had Tandem Auto install my lift over in Ft. Worth. Did an awesome job! Good group of guys!
