Thanks, I actually dipped them on the truck. I pulled the center caps, taped the bolts, and used plastic bags to cover the breaks and rotors.

Got my truck on Friday and dipped it on Saturday. First time using plasti dip worked out good i think. I'm going to do my grill next week!! The up close picture looks sloppy but its not its just water from washing it.20160207_104852.jpg20160207_111001.jpg

Heard today from someone that's works as a chemist at Sherwin Williams that plasti dip isnt made/good for cars specially in Florida. They suggested "custom wraps" which is made by Sherwin Williams but was actually made for the automotive industry while plasti dip was really made for tools....does anybody know if this is true or just a good sales pitch?

This is the first time I ever used plastidip. Almost 24 hours later it still feels clammy when you touch it. Does that go away sooner than later?

Were all you guiys able to "peel" off the overspray? Not me so now I will have to redo the letters, but this time Im taping in and out around the letters.
Other than that the black looks a hellava lot better.

I plasti dipped my grill on my 2012. Took it off and cleaned it real good. The edges are starting to peel apart and color looks bad. Thinking about using the paint this time.

First time dipper, did the grill Sunday morning. I think this is the best looking grill option for the ORs. I'd go so far as to say this is how it should've rolled off the assembly line. I blacked out behind the grill as well. Also added safety stripes to the license plate bracket... don't blame me, the "Not A Step" warning was egging me on...

Did they say why it's not good for cars especially in FL? And has he seen what these guys do? If they are spraying Ferrari's, Audi's, and Porches I'm okay with having it on my grille and emblems. Not to mention I've watched videos of people peeling it off after over a year and everything looked great.

Looks good! I have been thinking about a couple of different grill options, and I think this one is my favorite.

I think the badges will be next on my truck, as soon as warmer weather rolls around.
