3rd Gen Tacoma Model/Package/Option Costs Master List

Did you Tacoma towing kit include the ball mount and a hitch ball? Mine didn't.

My 2007 Nissan Xterra came with OEM Nissan hitch ball and ball mount. So I'm wondering if this is not included by Toyota or if my dealer didn't give it to me.

 

My wife's 4 runner came with the mount but I had to purchase the ball.

 

Sport 4x4 dcsb at with tow package and tech/prem without jbl and bed extender $34,500 including 900 destination plus TTL is this realalistic? In Arizona?

 

I keep getting offered the " extended warranty" for another 96 months or 125,000 miles for beyond the regular warranty. Is this something even worth the additional $2400?

I agree with you, I got a price on an order for a TRD OR 4x4 for $38,000 from Servco Honolulu, according to Truecar that is competitive with the rest of the U.s., and we know Hawaii you don't have a choice on where to get your Toyota

 

Went by the dealer again today ( a regular lunchtime walkabout) and the closest they had was a DCSB Off Road for $36, coming in about 5 weeks.. Said 8-10 to build my own, so I went online and did this. Saved a bit by going MT. Don't think I need the tow package, since my camper trailer is only 900 lbs. Thought about a sunroof, but that package was $3k!

Now if they can give me a good deal on my 2011 to trade in... Just called my bank for a pre-approval at 38k to be safe.

What do you mean another 96 mo?

If you mean bumper to bumper warranty for another 8 years making it essentially a 11 year/140k miles warranty I would absolutely take that for $2400.

only problem with that, official Toyota ext warrantys only go up to 8yrs and max of 125k miles on new vehicles.

and it starts from original purchase date of vehicle, not when you purchase the VSA.


edit : from what I can tell that is not a official Toyota VSA but a 3rd party.

I tried looking through the 48 pages of this thread, but gave up after about 20...

Is there a list of which color is available with which configuration? I've been playing with the configurator on Toyota website, but it seems to say different colors are available every few days... My ideal cofiguration is OR 4x4 DCSB w/ premium&tech package (no JBL) in Blazing Blue Pearl. The configurator at one point allowed me this color for the OR w/ premium&tech package, but now it's showing I can only get red with this config...

 

Definitely don't go off what the configure says on Toyota. Talk to your dealerships and see what they can get for you. Because ultimately it's going to matter they say than what the Toyota site says.

 

I believe the Toyota website is just an inventory search tool. I also suspect that you can get that exact setup, though you may need to find a dealer willing to order it. The only color limitation that I've seen thus far is the orange interior with certain exterior colors. For reference, I have a 4x4 Sport DCSB w/ JBL in BBP which is in transit as we speak and the BBP thread may give you some insight as well. Good luck!
