I don't mess with kick. That's cheating in my opinion. Reason being is when I'm listening to music my head isn't in the kick. I always meter at the headrest. Also I like metering sealed

.5 daily would be the lowest limit I would wire to. That rise to 2 ohms sounds like a more realistic scenario.

.7 or .8 I have had great results with for a daily setup. .5 is the lowest I would go and even then I would still be cautious about where my voltage is at.

Also, if I am coming off as a know it all please let me know and I will kindly stop posting.

I wouldn't meter any other way.

dimensions are 41 wide 12 depth 19.5 height. 10.5x5 port for 52.5 sq in port perfect for the piston diameter of my fi ssd 10... And I agree this truck is easy to get loud... A dbl cab will be harder 4 doors leaking sound instead of just 2

Anal about voltage I don't wanna see it dip into the 13s I really need to re upgrade my alt... I've been trying to find advice on gm large case swapping but no hits... I have a mechman 370a in my gmc that I wouldn't mind putting in the taco lol... Then I won't even see a dip at idle... That's the way it was running my ts1.8kw at full tilt 1ohm in my gmc at idle it would bounce around 14.4-14.8

Been debating the same thing it's either that or figure out a dual bracket and run two 250a Alts think one large case gm would do the trick

If you can keep voltage in 13s, you are golden. I like my voltage to stay at or above battery resting voltage which is 12.5-12.8

You have a first gen so I can't speak for your engine bay but the mock up for my second and possible third and fourth locations was time consuming. Worth it in the end but it was close in alot places.

13 is definitely a nice spot to hover at. Getting the tacoma to stay charging at 14.4 constantly was a pain but possible.

I've heard good things about his Alts having lifetime warranties... Also excessive amperage and Ohio gen

I can definately see doing a dual possible with one stacked up on top of the other... And possibly another on top of that but couldn't see more than 3 near the stock location and finding the belt to fit could prove to be a real pain
