Mid travel overland-wheeler build with 35's and BS w/ SAS in the works

Need some damn frame reinforcements for my front bumper. Want to be better secured than something to happen when winching or anything

 

His look like that with full length gussets from end to end. Those you posted above will literally straighten themselves out, seen it happen. Call him tomorrow and ask him if he will send you a set and the cost. I dont see why they wouldn't work. If i had my truck back i would post up some photos for you.

 

Called him about bumper so when he returns my call I'll ask him about them also. Thanks buddy! It's awesome all the good info you guys have!

 

I need pictures to understand this. I know the Pelfrey mounts to the front plate as well as underneath where the swaybar or old King resis mount.

So please explain what these are doing.

 

Sure thing man, i just hate to see some of the underengineered products pedaled by some of the "better" vendors on this site.

 

I need one too...I was just told to get them so ice been looking and that's all I can find.

 

Hopefully someone can jump in with a Demello or Bruteforce Fabrication front bumper to show you both, they have the two best designs out there for securing the front bumper on our trucks.

 

All that's holding my bumper on is 6 of the frame nuts...

 

The old demello would just bolt on to the front plate and I've seen that bumper crushed. I know now they reinforce on the inside of the bumper.

 

Yeah, thats simply not enough. The plate those studs are hanging from is less than an 1/8" thick. I had a buddy that I wheel with basically lose his front bumper because the plates both failed from hard use.

 

Yeah I'm needing Billy's frame reinforced brackets then

 

This is Jason's new design, beefy as fawk and ties in the front studs to two additional holes in the frame all through a 1/4" thick boxed bracket.

I like when products evolve like that. TBH I think ive looked at every plate/ hybrid out there and most are very similar.

That new All Pro hybrid is still my favorite because of just how simple and functional it is.

I'm with @AaronArf with the hole take the weight off the front direction he is going. He just relocated both batteries to the bed and it looks good. I'm really trying to avoid the need to jump beyond 650# springs.

 

It would be my luck and someone would steal my batteries

You could add the wings yourself. Im not entirely sure the hc/regular are the same other than that?
